Dr. Anthony Fauci
Dr. Anthony Fauci has rightly become a household name as he is one of the lead members of President Trump Administration’s White House Coronavirus Task Force addressing the pandemic that has plagued not only the United States but the world. This gentleman was born in New York, attended the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA, and went on to attend Cornell University Medical College, graduating first in his class. From there his career was ostentatious serving at the National Institute of Health, then to the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Dr. Fauci’s experiences in the field of science are continually extensive as he is then appointed Chief of the Laboratory of Immunoregulation and in 1984, he became director of NIAID, a position which he holds as of this date. Dr. Fauci has been on the forefront of the U.S.efforts to contend with the viral diseases like HIV, SARS and also such as the flu, the Swine flu, MERS and Ebola.He has advised six presidents on HIV/AIDS and during his long remarkable career has published many articles and has received innumerable honors and awards. Our gratitude for his contributions to the medical field which has consequentially benefited mankind.
